Case Study Participation Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in a case study organised by UK Debt Expert Limited, part of the UK Debt Expert Group (the “Company”). By opting in to share your story, you agree to the following:
1. Purpose of Case Studies
The purpose of the case study is to share real stories and experiences of people who have received help with managing their debt through UK Debt Expert. These stories may be used to inform, educate and inspire others facing similar challenges, while promoting the services of the UK Debt Expert Group.
2. Use of Content
By taking part in this initiative, you consent to the use of your story, photographs, and/or video content as outlined below:
- Social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter)
- Websites belonging to the UK Debt Expert group or its affiliated partners
- Press releases, news articles, and PR campaigns
- Printed and digital promotional materials
- Internal presentations and training materials
This usage may be national or international in scope and includes both commercial and non-commercial contexts. Content may be edited for clarity, length, or format, without altering the core message of your experience.
3. Participation Tiers & Rewards
You may opt in to one of the following case study formats:
| Format | Reward |
| 1–2 minute video testimonial (with photo and name) | £500 in vouchers |
| Interview with photograph and name | £200 in vouchers |
| Name only interview | £75 in vouchers |
| Anonymous interview (no name or image used) | £50 in vouchers |
Vouchers will be provided within 30 days of the content being received and approved by the UK Debt Expert marketing team.
4. Consent & Right to Withdraw
You will be required to sign a consent form prior to taking part in any case study.
You will also be required to review and confirm you agree to the content prior to publication.
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time before publication. After publication, while content already in use may not be retracted, we will stop any future use of your materials upon written request.
5. Accuracy & Responsibility
You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and represents your genuine experience. You understand that your story will be shared in accordance with relevant guidance from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), particularly CONC 3 – Financial promotions and communications, and the UK Advertising Standards Authority’s (ASA) non-broadcast code.
All case study content must be clear, fair, and not misleading, and will be reviewed to ensure compliance.

6. Data Protection & Privacy
Your personal data will be handled securely and in accordance with data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
For anonymous participants, your identity will be protected, and only internal team members involved in the project will access your contact information.
