The Debt Arrangement Scheme, also known as DAS, is a debt solution available to people in Scotland.
The DAS gives people struggling with unsecured debts the opportunity to repay through a structured repayment plan.
The arrangement is set up and managed by an approved money advisor, and interest and charges on debts included in the DAS are typically frozen.
If you choose to enter a DAS you’ll repay what you owe in full. You’ll also be made aware of important information like the fact that entering a DAS will negatively impact your credit rating and that it’ll be available on a public register.
