People living in Scotland with low income and minimal assets may consider the Minimal Asset Process when looking for a debt solution.
The Minimal Asset Process, also known as MAP, is a form of bankruptcy only available to Scottish residents.
Typically lasting six months, the MAP offers people the chance to make reduced payments towards their debts. After this time period, qualifying unsecured debts will be legally written off and you’ll be discharged from the arrangement.
